the truth is
i have acted a fool so many times that
it seems I have no stone in my hand to throw
me least of all should be surprised
that all persons can surf the edge of sanity
depending on persistent genes or
what Granny would call "their raisin'"
it is a terrible truth
that no matter who we seek to blame
there is another secret conspirator
and you can only see it in the mirror
