why it is a good day

The surgeon said I was as strong as a horse, but was losing TOO MUCH weight.  So, it's BOOST for me at least once a day.  He also cleared me to work from home starting on the 29th, and return to campus on 1/3.  I can also teach...so I'm thrilled.  My employer has been fantastically accommodating and I am ready to preach--I mean, teach again very soon.  Thanks to all of you as you have heard me through this surgery.  It has been one of the toughest years of my life.
